The workshops are practical hands-on sessions as you will have computer and internet access during the session. You will be able to practice live while you are learning, and potentially make immediate changes to your website or internet marketing activities.

  • Get Found On Google - maximising the positioning of natural search listings on Google and other search engines including YAHOO! and MSN
  • Google AdWords - complementing Google natural search listings with managed pay-per-click advertising using the Google AdWords service
  • Web Copywriting - writing effective website copy to maximise the chance of turning your website visitors into customers. .
  • Google Analytics - using Google's free website statistics to really understand how your website is working
  • Get Your Website Working - using different online tools to assess the business and marketing effectiveness of your website, and identify what actions you can take to resolve any issues.

Each workshop lasts a half-day and costs £100 + VAT including use of computer equipment, refreshments and comprehensive training notes for each session.

Your business may be eligible for up to 50% funding of your training fees from the eight councils in the Metro West region - Glasgow City Council, West Dunbartonshire Council, East Dunbartonshire Council, North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council, Renfrewshire Council, East Renfrewshire Council and Inverclyde Council.

The workshops can be taken individually or treated as an integrated training programme to give you the knowledge and skills to meet your business needs.
