WebEnergy Events Terms & Conditions
WebEnergy is a Limited Company and VAT registered.

Reservations and booking confirmation
You are deemed to have reserved a place on the Website Best Practice programme by submitting your online reservation form. No fees are payable at this point.

If your company is eligible for grant funded support, you should immediately apply to Glasgow City Council. See separate section on 'Council Grant Funding'.

Your company's place on the programme will only be confirmed when you have received confirmation from Glasgow City Council of grant funding approval.

Payment
As soon as you have received approval from Glasgow City Council for grant funding, WebEnergy will issue an invoice for the full £750 programme fee which must be paid in full before the programme starts on Monday 22 March 2010.

Any booking that is not paid for in full by Monday 22 March 2010 may be re-allocated to another company.

Council Grant Funding
You need to make a separate application to Glasgow City Council for grant funding.

Download the Glasgow City Council training grant application form and guideline documents and then submit your completed application form directly to Glasgow City Council as instructed in their application form.

To be eligible for grant funded support for the Website Best Practice programme your company must normally:

  • Operate from business premises in Glasgow
  • Generate more than 50% of turnover from manufacturing or generate more than 50% turnover from outwith Glasgow. Proof of turnover certified by an external accountant, may be required
  • Employ less than 250 people worldwide

In all cases a company's ability to pay for the training themselves will be taken into consideration before approval for grant funding is given by Glasgow City Council.

Retail companies and companies trading locally i.e. within the City, are not eligible for support

Training grants are only paid after the event and where there is proof of attendance and payment to WebEnergy.

After completing the programme in full, you will be able to reclaim 50% of the full programme fee (£375) providing you have received prior approval from Glasgow City Council. You will be responsible for paying the VAT on the full £750 programme fee as grant funding cannot be used to pay for VAT.

Cancellation
Should you decide to cancel, the following fees apply:

8 days or more prior to the event - no charge
7 days or less prior to training - for cancellations received on or after this date, or in the event of non-attendance, a 100% cancellation fee applies

All cancellations must be made in writing and will be acknowledged in writing. Alternatively, you may send someone else from your company for no additional charge, although please advise in advance of the attendee name change.

Reimbursement
WebEnergy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event at any time. In the unlikely event of this happening, you will receive a full refund. WebEnergy is not responsible for any extra costs incurred as a result of a cancelled event.
