The Supplier Development Programme is a local authority partnership programme established to offer small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) the opportunity to grow and diversify through procurement.
With a public sector spend of approximately £8 billion, the SDP aims to assist Scottish businesses improve their performance in winning contracts with public sector organisations.
The Supplier Development Programme website is fully content managed with integrated e-mail marketing that publishes regular newsletters to all registered users.
The website allows companies to register their business, and confirm the types of public sector contracts they are interested in.
A separate Buyers section allows public sector organisations throughout Scotland to register and publish information on their procurement guidelines and details of organisational contacts.
The website will continue to be developed to provide more online services for suppliers, buyers and the local authority partners.
